After work the other night I somehow ended up having a drink with my neighbor and some of her friends on election night. Somehow the topic turned to the film festival and out of this I got three tickets to the festival. I really wanted to go, as I'd never been before. I ended up seeing two very good movies and giving the third ticket to my step-dad.

The first film I saw was Mr. Foe. I thought it was brilliant. It was everything I could ask for in a movie. It was very funny at times, tense, sad, powerful. I enjoyed it all the way through. The second was Tell No One. Though it seemed to drag on at times, I enjoyed it as well. It was a very beautiful film. The cinematography was wonderful and the acting was great. I suggest anybody watches both of these films.

I'm so glad I made it to the film festival this year. Thank you so much to my generous neighbor's friend Carol for allowing me to go.
