Job Interview

My Dad called me and left a voice-mail about two weeks ago telling me that there was an offer for a job as a web designer for a local company. I bought a paper and checked it out. The number for the company was a 410 number though, which is Salisbury, MD, aka about an hour drive. I figured what the hell? Give it a try, maybe the pay would be worth the drive. I made up a resume a few days later and sent it in. Hadn't heard anything from them, so I was pretty sure they just looked at it and decided I wasn't what they were looking for. Today I got an e-mail from the company asking if I could re-send the resume in a different format. I whipped up a .PDF file and re-sent it. About 15 minutes later (if that) a lady called me and arranged an interview on Tuesday. Turns out the actual office is on top of the restaurant I already work at, same building, just upstairs. Talk about convenient! I wouldn't even have to get in my car if I get this job. It could be something lame, I really have no idea what exactly they are looking for, but we'll see Tuesday. It's 4am, time for sleep.

Work that pays you and keeps food in your stomach is never lame (while you're employed there, at least).

Then again, you already have a job, so you can afford to be picky. At this point, I'll take anything that comes my way, despite the desire to follow a dream.

Remember, food and shelter are #1. I'm slowly learning that ;)
